There are various places in Shenzhen where you can go bowling. Each bowling alley I have visited had shoes in large sizes (12 / 48) and lots of different bowling balls also for people with big hands. The lanes are generally well maintained and the bowling software is in English and if you cannot understand it, the staff always lends a hand. Normally you pay per game, so if you and your friend play 5 games each, the total will be 10 games + shoe rent. Bowling costs around 8-12Y per game and shoes cost around 5 yuan per person. Total cost for an hour bowling would be about 125Y. There must be around 15 bowling alleys in Shenzhen, but I've only been to a few. Read below to find some addresses for bowling alleys in Shenzhen:

Nanshan: Shenzhen University.

Address: North Entrance of the Shenzhen University, just before the swimming pool turn right and enter the building on your right. Has lots of lanes and is quite cheap (last time I went it was 8Y per game).

Nanshan: Fuli Bowling Alley

Housed in an old building on the 5th floor is this bowling alley. Good bowling facilities as well, but not easy to find. Also has snooker tables.

Futian: behind the Shenzhen Special Zone Press Tower

Address: just take the bus to the Shenzhen Special Zone Press Tower (bus stop Te Qu Bao She. For example busses 32, 54, 101, 109 (from Coco Park), 113, 123). Then walk around the Press Tower and just behind it is a lower building which also houses a gym. On the 7th floor is the bowling alley. Prices were 12 yuan per round and shoes 5 yuan per pair. Next door is a Cantonese restaurant. You can also take the subway to XiangMiHu stop and then take exit C1 and walk ahead along the big road to the PressTower (in the east).
