European Bar Street

The European bar street is located next to Window of the World and you cannot really miss it when you pass Window of the World. It consists of 3 small streets with lots of pubs/bars. The houses are all in European style, hence the name. During the daytime you can sit in a terrace, but during the evening the place gets more alive.

KTV

Karaoke, or KTV as it is known in China, is also very popular in Shenzhen. I don't like to sing (because I cannot keep a tune), but my girlfriend likes to go. Some good ones according to her:

"Party World" , close to Citic plaza in Futian district. Relatively expensive

"California Red" (JiaZhouHong) many places in Nanshan and Futian. Average price

Poly Theater

Poly Theater, better known as 'the Egg' in Shenzhen because of the shape of the building, is located in Nanshan district close to the new bridge to Hong Kong. Next to Poly Theater is the Coastal City shopping complex .  The theater is less big than I expected, but is very modern and has good facilities. Chairs are comfortable, light was great, sound was good.
