YuYuan Shanghainese restaurant

Today we went to YuYuan, a Shanghainese restaurant in Citic plaza in Futian district in Shenzhen. It's one of the best Shanghainese restaurants in the city and the price is also quite high, but we had a special offer via the tuan.qq.com website. We liked the restaurant a lot: see the photos and read our impression below:

YuYuan - very good Shanghainese restaurant

The special offer consisted of a fish, 6 meat dumplings with soup inside and a vegetable dish for around 120Y (regular price around 250Y). The food arrived quickly and tasted good. The dumplings tasted very good, and so did the vegetables and fish, but our favorite were the sweet ribs. The decoration of the restaurant is also beautiful. The restaurant itself is smaller than we expected. Perhaps only about 40 people can sit inside, but that also gives it a nice atmosphere. There is one big room with about 10 tables for 2 and a few semi-seperated tables with larger tables for about 6 people. Highly recommended, though a bit expensive!

Address:
4th floor of Citic City Plaza . Take the subway to KeXueGuan (Science Museum) and then take exit D to go to Citic Plaza. You will pass many underground shops and a very big Jusco. Then go up to the 4th floor.

Price:
Minimum around 250RMB for two persons, but they also have many very expensive dishes that cost over 400RMB!
