My wife has hired a yuesao (sort of midwife) to help her during the first month after pregnancy (called yuezi). She has lots of special traditional recipes to help mom recover and to stimulate milk-production. Today the first in this series: pig feet stewed in vinegar with lots of ginger. stewed pigfeet in vinegar Ingredients:
![]() 1. wash the pigfeet ![]() 2. put them in a big stone bowl ![]() 3. add the whole bottle of sweet vinegar to it (I think especially this kind). Also add lots of sliced fresh ginger and some boiled eggs. ![]() 4. boil for several hours. During boiling remove the excess oil. Should be eaten warm. Smells very good!
